We have 20 years’ experience in the design and specification of flexible hoses for the important connection between hot and cold water services used in heating, ventilation and air-conditioning applications (HVAC). Hydralectric’s team of in-house engineers continuously work to develop product improvements to meet the changing requirements of this sector.
Proven to be a versatile alternative to traditional copper piping, the Qualflex™ Elite flexible hose range is made from a hard-wearing EPDM rubber liner and robust stainless steel overbraid – with red & blue tracer for easy identification. Elite flexible hoses are specifically designed to endure the varied temperature range of HVAC equipment. Elite flexible hoses are tested up to 85°C at 10bar, and can be supplied with class ‘0’ insulation for chilled applications.
Hydralectric works with specifiers, M&E contractors, merchants and specialist distributors, often at pre-installation stage, to develop project-specific flexible hoses. As part of our commitment to our customers, we offer regular on-site meetings with your dedicated account manager and one of our experienced product engineers to ensure product integrity and complete customer satisfaction.
Hydralectric’s Qualflex™ Elite flexible hoses are trusted by the UK’s leading sub-contractors and having recently been used in several high-profile developments including Heathrow Terminal 5, London’s 2012 Olympic Village, and The Shard.
We also support the building services sector with flexible hoses for potable water supplies. Developed in compliance with the Water Regulation Advisory Scheme (WRAS), the Qualflex™ Classic range is fully approved for general plumbing of hot and cold water supplies for drinking, cooking and washroom facilities – delivering safe, taint-free to taps, showers and baths.
