Crispin Fielder promoted to important new Quality Control Position
Crispin Fielder joined Hydralectric in July 2009 as a despatch inspector. Having completed a full engineering apprenticeship he became involved the manufacture of racing car steering and gearbox’s, this subsequently led to him running a race car (in the years when he had a greater disposable income). Other work experience included product inspection and development and successfully running a small family business.
Following our policy of promoting from within whenever possible Crispin was selected from six people who had applied for the new job of Goods Inwards Quality Control Inspector having been interviewed by Paul Tidswell - our Quality and Technical Manager and completing a simulated quality control assessment.

This will initially be achieved by 100% inspection of components from new suppliers to acceptance quality level inspection of components from established suppliers. An important part of his job will be to produce reports for Paul Tidswell and suppliers in the event of component failure of non conformity.
Hydralectric is the leading UK manufacturer and supplier of stainless steel braided hoses, solenoid valves and pumps and continue to improve our manufacturing and inspection process to meet the demand of new applications.
