Richard Bush
Purchasing Assistant
Hydralectric aims to provide high quality products at competitive prices but we cannot achieve these goals unless we source quality components.
Richard Bush joined our purchasing team that’s managed by Brian Russell on 28th March. His appointment as a purchasing assistant was another new position created in 2011 as part of Hydralectric’s restructuring programme that will continue to be rolled out during 2011.
We needed an experienced purchasing assistant and Richard has been involved in the sourcing and purchase of a wide range of items ranging from pencils and small consumables to major electrical/mechanical plant equipment. He started his career working for major organisations in Nottinghamshire and Derby before relocating to Surrey and Kent approximately three years ago.
Richard graduated from Luton University with a degree in Contemporary History and plans to develop his career at Hydralectric by enrolling in a CIPS course that will lead to a professional qualification. Due to the imminent arrival of his first child (May 2011) his wife has insisted that his plans to study be delayed for a while.
Brian Russell, Richard Bush and Jo McQuade are members of the Hydralectric purchasing team.
