Hydralectric sponsored and judged the award for best use of Digital Media at the Young Enterprise Surrey Area Final hosted by Procter and Gamble at Brooklands on 27 March 2012.  9 Surrey schools entered 15 school companies who were tasked with setting up new companies to trade in the service or products they had created.  All teams prepared a trade stand, created a video ad, and made a company presentation to a packed audience of over 200 people. The standard from all participants was very high and judging by Simon Grevatt and Richard Black was not an easy task but announced the winner was Notre Dame.
