Health & Safety Policy

Hydralectric recognize and accept its moral and legal obligations and responsibilities with regard to Health and Safety and has a comprehensive manual of procedures to address this most important issue.

The Company policy is to take all reasonably practicable steps to secure:

  • The provision and maintenance of safe and healthy working conditions, and safe equipment, policies and procedures for all employees.
  • The collection and appropriate dissemination of up-to-date information on health and hazards and risks associated with the use of substances encountered in its work activities.
  • The health and safety of others who may be affected by its work activities including clients, visitors, contractors and employees within the boundaries if its premises, and members of the public.

The allocation of duties in relation to safety matters is set out in the Health & safety manual and as such which constitute an integral part of this policy.

The policy is updated and amended to take account of business changes, methods of operation and organizational structure. To ensure the policy and the way it has operated have been effective it will be reviewed annually. Due consideration will be given to consultation with employees affected before any major changes are made.

Copies of the policy manual are provided to all employees and, in so much that policy affect them, contractors and visitors.

The company will strive to work for the ongoing integration of safety into its business premises with the objective of attaining the highest standards in safety performance and seeks the co-operation of all concerned in the carrying through of its commitment.
