Environmental Policy
Hydralectric is a medium sized Distribution and Manufacturing Company. The Directors are committed to providing quality products and services in a manner that ensures a safe and healthy workplace for the employees and minimises the potential impact on the environment.
Hydralectric will strive to ensure that all aspects of the business have the least harmful effect on the environment and manage systems to:
- Be fully aware of all environmental legislation and ensure the Company complies and, where appropriate, improves upon.
- Monitor implementation policies by carrying out periodic audits and, when appropriate, implement corrective remedial measures.
- Ensure all employees in the course of their duties act in accordance with environmental policy.
- Encourage Suppliers to act in accordance with our environmental standards.
In consideration of the environment and local community, the Company is not involved in processes that involve or create noxious or hazardous outputs. Areas of particular attention within the business will be selection of waste minimisation, re-cycling of materials, noise reduction and reductions in energy consumption.
